Back in Korea

man... it's super hot here.. humid too.

Anyway...  I'll miss Andover!!
My APUSH and Speech&Debate class!!

Steve, Chad (aka Darcy..), Dariana, Devica, Kevin, Ned, Mark, Young, the "first" Christine..... yes, the 'cynical' major class... also... my minor class.. Ms. Tasha, Mia, Ranti, Alana, Cameron, Carolina, Dogan, Nick, Max...

and Hitomi, Aoi, Rieka, Sheri, Ariana, Yuki, Sue, Lotus, Takako, Solvit, Lucy, Mami, Esther, Alexa... and everyone else... (sry..i can't list everyone!)...dorm friends, counselors...

I'll miss ya all!

okay, SO.. now that i'm back in korea...

I have SO MANY THINGS TO DO... only one week left til school... first i have to finish the summer reading.. then do journalism summer assignment..meet some people... prepare for school... now i really shouldn't whine cuz i'm proabably not the only one like this.. but still.. . :(

on a brighter note,
i'm going to meet my cousins and possibly Sue and Esther!!! I haven't met my cousins for 2 years... I think.. yeah.

summer is almost over

only three days left. i'll miss this place...

then i go back.. then i read all the summer reading assignments... do journalism summer assignment.. then do the debate preparations.. and school starts on the 11th. man.. i'm dead.

but i hope i can meet my cousins (from canada) and maybe even Esther.. before school starts. HOPEFULLY.

anyway..

so.. my major... on wednesday we watched the other history class do a trial on the Rosenberg case... the 'jury discussion' after was hilarious. i'll never forget Mr.Darcy's "Fry them! Fry them!"... (Christine Chen -- you know what i mean.. right?!)

for minor.. we have a lincoln-douglas debate tomorrow. i'm not sure if i'm ready for it... but.. oh well. i just hope i'll do okay.

oh and college trip.. omg.. I went to Brown... not realizing that I went there last year!! ... we went through the tour and then I was at the bookstore to buy a t-shirt and I was like.. hmm.. this place looks familiar.. ...!!! ¤Ñ.¤Ñ;;

well, g2g.. i still have 20 more pages to read..

At Andover!!

(here's a pic of Godiva chocolateas... I bought some at the Rockingham Mall..)

hey..only two weeks until andover summer school is over...and i only took about 10 pics... that's just...sad.  oh, but i'm going to MIT tomorrow.. i'll hopefully take some pics there?!

neway.... midterm exam for my major class turned out to be better than I thought. so.. phew... but i have a court case coming up.. where I have to defend Sacco and Vanzetti. the problem is...i know NOTHING about those two people..great. so i have to research.

minor class is also fun. doing all kinds of stuff.. from speech, impromptu debates, tours... to song interpretation.. yep.. fun~

oh oh .. and also.. i'm learning japanese from this girl name Hitomi.. she's really nice.. konichiwa~! (^---^)v

so how's everyone?! enjoying summer?!

----(edit)-----

(^.^) the background music is from this japanese anime... someone showed me through youtube.com and it was.. interesting...i have no idea what the lyrics are about..but o well..

Also... I'm actually going to Amherst (instead of MIT) for the college trip. i don't think i'll be majoring in engineering..so i changed my mind...

omg.... it's SUPER hot here... today.. i woke up sweating... and then...i was about to die in my minor class... (there are no a/c here.. except for at the computer center) how about korea and everywhere else? i bet it's just as hot... maybe that whole global warming issue is really coming into effect. who knows..?!

Summer

Exams were over three weeks ago... and..

I'm going to Andover (summer school) in just two days!!!

I'm really looking forward to it...

btw... to all the ppl going to EPGY -- have fun there!

o.. and also to those who will be in hakwons the rest of the summer... good luck! ^^

but for now.. [world cup] - i'm cheering for Korea (currently 12:30 AM... just 3 1/2 hours until the game [korea vs. switzerland] !!!)....

we really have to win this... yeah... if we lose... then.. bye bye World Cup!! (unless France loses to Togo...)

"Red Devils" spirit!!

"Red Devils".. these people are crazy...
seriously..
they sit there from the morning (day before)...
and cheer until 6AM (when the game ends)...
and then they go to school/work right after...

my favorite pic...
"Dreams ¡Ú will come true"

-----------------------(Edit)-------------------------

yeah.. so much for being FAIR...
the referees really have GREAT judging skills.... ¤Ñ¤Ñ;;
so swiss players have no arms...only four legs?! ...
oh yeah... and with the 2nd goal... WOW... ¤Ñ¤Ñ;;
hmm.. who knows.. maybe it's just that they are scared of the swiss FIFA President. yeah.

this was seriously... Korea (11 people) vs. Switzerland + Referees. of course, referees can make mistakes once or twice.. they are human beings too... but this was more like... 10 times. ridiculous.

the one other thing i was amazed at... the Red Devils.. man.. they were loud.. the ratio of swiss fans to ours was like 4:1 and I could still hear them... ´ë~Çѹα¹! ¦¦-¦-¦¦!

o well..  bye bye, World Cup...
See you later in South Africa.

spring break...

i went to this place called this island (I can't spell it in English), Oedo Island on wednesday and Kyungju on thursday.. it was... fun and interesting. ^^\

first i went to the beach and then to this Korean War refugee place.. learned some interesting stuff there..

Oedo Island was beautiful!!
it's a private island.. it used to be like a big piece of rock.. but then this man changed it in to a garden.. it took him 25 years!

then I went to Kyungju (°æÁÖ).. where all the Korean Shilla Dynasty stuff are... went to ¼®±¼¾Ï, ºÒ±¹»ç, ¹Ú¹°°ü and all other places.. and learned more about all the bad things the japanese and mongol ppl did during that time...
it was interesting..

man.. it's already end of spring break...
arg.. and i still have to do WH project...
